André Carneiro came out of the goal and Adelino Assis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Óscar Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Carneiro having to interfere. During the 26th minute of the match Manuel Barbosa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Manuel Barbosa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Manuel Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. When Cristiano Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Guilheiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Nascimento couldn't finish the play. SC Seada's Viriato Amaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save SC Seada from getting a goal against them. Luís Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Cristiano Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Viriato Amaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Viriato Amaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, SC Seada's Armando Queirós got a free kick in the 71st minute. Cristiano Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Carlos Simões fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. SC Seada's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
