After a rather tough play, Sedielos FC's João Abreu got a free kick in the 6th minute. Queimada FC's Cláudio Carvalho couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sedielos FC. Jacinto Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Viana having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Melo in the 13th minute of play forced Queimada FC's goalkeeper José Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Coimbra struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. José Esteves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sedielos FC. After a defensive mix-up in Queimada FC's zone, Cristóvão Melo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Esteves came out of the goal and Cristóvão Melo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristóvão Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Esteves having to interfere. Cristiano Setúbal kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Queimada FC's Joel Correia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mário Viana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Melo in the 35th minute of play forced Queimada FC's goalkeeper José Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Correia's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mário Viana firmly grabbed it by the left post. José Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Coimbra in the 39th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Sedielos FC's goalkeeper Mário Viana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Correia. João Abreu hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Mário Viana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Correia in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0.
