Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. João Sá started the match with the kick off. Queimada FC's José Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Delgado in the 4th minute of play. Bernardo Delgado struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. José Esteves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gamenhos FC. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Queimada FC's goalkeeper José Esteves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Jacinto Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Correia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joel Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Dantas having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Gamenhos FC's Bernardo Delgado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Esteves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bernardo Delgado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Esteves having to make a save. If João Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Queimada FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Armindo Moniz hit a great ball. José Esteves came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Gamenhos FC's Bernardo Delgado. But to his dismay, Bernardo Delgado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto Santos in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Dantas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacinto Santos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sérgio Trindade kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. If João Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Delgado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Esteves having to make a save. In the 63rd match minute, Queimada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. If João Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Viriato Guerreiro made a precise shot to the right of André Dantas. Gamenhos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. A long shot from Adelino Pires in the 83rd minute of play was well struck, but José Esteves made a really good save at the right post. 87 minutes into the game, Gamenhos FC's Bernardo Delgado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Esteves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Paulo Pires's late challenge caught a Queimada FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Pires helped the player get up and apologised. The Gamenhos FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Queimada FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
