Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Viriato Pires had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artur Machado. Cerejo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viriato Pires was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Xavier Santarém recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute, Viriato Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, SC Terroal's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Santarém came free, but Nuno Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Vaz having to interfere. In the 18th minute, SC Terroal's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Xavier Santarém fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Armindo Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Artur Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Santarém in the 27th minute of play. Luís Nascimento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuno Vaz having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Santarém in the 29th minute of play forced SC Terroal's goalkeeper Nuno Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Nuno Vaz managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Cerejo's Luís Nascimento fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Luís Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingos Faria hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute of the match Júlio Setúbal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artur Machado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 40 minutes, Basílio Lisboa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cerejo and the SC Terroal players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cerejo getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Basílio Lisboa hit a great ball. The Cerejo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Terroal were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adolfo Garcia to make the kick off. Luís Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Nuno Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 57 minutes, Xavier Santarém managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerejo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavier Santarém was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nuno Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Santarém in the 61st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Terroal's zone, Xavier Santarém stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Vaz came out of the goal and Xavier Santarém tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Luís Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Artur Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87thth minute of the game Xavier Santarém who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Terroal's Nuno Vaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, SC Terroal's Adolfo Garcia got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the final whistle went the supporters of SC Terroal were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Cerejo side.
