Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Manuel Anjos kicked off to start the match. When Rui Moreira fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nunes FC's protests and gave Rui Moreira a yellow card for diving instead. Carlos Pinho's late challenge caught a Avoes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Pinho helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes Nunes FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Pinho. A collision led to Nunes FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Carlos Pinho hit a great ball. If Alexandre Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Rui Faria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oliveira Moniz was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. 15 minutes into the match, Avoes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Anjos came free, but Ricardo Resende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rui Faria succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. After 27 played minutes Manuel Anjos rounded Avoes FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Oliveira Moniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rui Faria struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Oliveira Moniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avoes FC. Eduardo Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eduardo Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ricardo Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexandre Cardoso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Resende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Gonçalves in the 54th minute of the match. Eduardo Gonçalves struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Ricardo Resende didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nunes FC. After a defensive mix-up in Nunes FC's zone, Pedro Faro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oliveira Moniz came out of the goal and Pedro Faro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Manuel Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nunes FC's goalkeeper Oliveira Moniz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Eduardo Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nunes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Resende breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 76 minutes into the match, Eduardo Gonçalves notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Avoes FC's Ricardo Resende. Ricardo Resende was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Rui Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Avoes FC's Rui Faria shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 83rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Oliveira Moniz but with some difficulty. 88 minutes into the game, Rui Faria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Oliveira Moniz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alexandre Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliveira Moniz having to interfere. In the 97th minute Manuel Anjos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Resende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
