The supporters of SC Gongeva booed when Benafim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Assis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Vítor Coimbra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th match minute, Benafim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Assis to maneuver through the defense. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for David Correia to strike the kick off in the second half. If David Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Resende hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Manuel Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58thth minute of the game David Correia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Benafim FC's Vítor Coimbra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of SC Gongeva booed when Benafim FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeu Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Benafim FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Amadeu Monteiro hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Benafim FC's zone, David Correia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor Coimbra came out of the goal and David Correia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Viriato Dias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristiano Correia having to make a save. 79 minutes into the match, SC Gongeva's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Valente came free, but Cristiano Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, David Correia made a precise shot to the right of Vítor Coimbra. Benafim FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Manuel Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vítor Coimbra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. After 93 played minutes Benafim FC got a freekick which was hit by António Campos. Cristiano Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Dias in the 97th minute of play.
