Fábio Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heitor Ribeiro in the 4th minute of play. Júlio Garcia made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Alexandre Brás sent off a good shot on target. If Heitor Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fábio Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heitor Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Alexandre Brás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 17 played minutes Guimarei got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Guerreiro. 18 minutes into the match, SC Pinheiral's Cristiano Matias broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Alexandre Brás struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Júlio Garcia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Pinheiral. Heitor Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Fábio Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fábio Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Brito in the 31st minute of play. Emanuel Brito might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fábio Nascimento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Brito ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in SC Pinheiral's zone, Heitor Ribeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fábio Nascimento came out of the goal and Heitor Ribeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Guimarei's Emanuel Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SC Pinheiral's Albertino Nunes got a free kick in the 54th minute. Emanuel Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Fábio Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Carlos Lisboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Albertino Nunes fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Pinheiral's protests and gave Albertino Nunes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Guimarei booed when SC Pinheiral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertino Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Carlos Lisboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When SC Pinheiral's Alexandre Brás in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guimarei's goalie prevented a goal. Duarte Antunes's late challenge caught a SC Pinheiral's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duarte Antunes helped the player get up and apologised. Carlos Lisboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Heitor Ribeiro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The SC Pinheiral fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Guimarei were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
