Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Óscar Tavares took the kick off in the first half of the match. Eusébio Faria made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Cândido Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. Eusébio Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Pinho in the 9th minute of the match. Cândido Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Faria having to interfere. Óscar Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Leal having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cândido Fonseca got free with Eusébio Faria in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Basílio Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cândido Fonseca hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Loure FC's Basílio Pinho pulled a muscle in his leg after 26 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filipe Carneiro during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Barbelote fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! SC Barbelote:s Eusébio Faria showed great skill when he stopped Cristiano Macedo:s penalty. Eusébio Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Aleixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 played minutes SC Barbelote got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Almeida. Cândido Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Óscar Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the SC Barbelote fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Óscar Tavares couldn't finish the play. After the first half SC Barbelote were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Abel Silva might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquim Leal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abel Silva ran back to his position shaking his head. Luís Aleixo kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Abel Silva struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Joaquim Leal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Barbelote. When Loure FC's Cândido Fonseca in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Barbelote's goalie prevented a goal. Joaquim Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Óscar Tavares in the 78th minute of play. After 89 played minutes SC Barbelote got a freekick which was hit by Artur Magalhães. After recieving a nice pass, Loure FC's Cristiano Macedo tried to score from far away in the 90th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gustavo Almeida charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustavo Almeida the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gustavo Almeida hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Cândido Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Eusébio Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
