Armindo Paiva didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SC Seiros's Jaime Ferro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Rui Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Faro, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Américo Brito to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Renhadouro's zone, Jaime Ferro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armindo Paiva came out of the goal and Jaime Ferro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Américo Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Sérgio Carneiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Joaquim Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. SC Seiros's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Américo Brito 67 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. José Ferreira hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, SC Seiros's goal looked a bit too open when Américo Brito came free, but Rui Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 minutes of play, SC Seiros's Jaime Ferro made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armindo Paiva was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Sérgio Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Seiros's supporters rose to their feet, but Sérgio Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armindo Paiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, SC Seiros's Francisco Baptista got a free kick in the 90th minute. Rui Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Américo Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute Jaime Ferro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
