Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jorge Neves took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gaspar Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Ferreira having to interfere. Gaspar Mota could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Jacinto Ferreira made a huge save. Jacinto Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandre Ramos charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Ramos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. SC Levide's Jacinto Ferreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save SC Levide from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute, Jorge Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Alexandre Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Levide's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Paiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albertino Campos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Sandro Soares fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Formosa's protests and gave Sandro Soares a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, SC Formosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Soares to maneuver through the defense. Albertino Campos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Albertino Campos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Marques in the 29th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Neves in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Ferreira saved SC Levide from getting behind. In the 34th minute, Inácio Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Neves in the 38th minute of play forced SC Levide's goalkeeper Jacinto Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SC Levide booed when SC Formosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Óscar Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inácio Marques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albertino Campos having to make a save. Alexandre Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Luís Borba kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Cristiano Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexandre Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino Campos having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Paiva in the 61st minute of play forced SC Formosa's goalkeeper Albertino Campos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albertino Campos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, SC Formosa's Francisco Leal got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Alexandre Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino Campos having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Diogo Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Formosa's Jorge Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, SC Levide's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Mota came free, but Jacinto Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
