An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Lima in the 27th minute of play forced Caminha FC's goalkeeper Filipe Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Júlio Morais might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afonso Mota. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Júlio Morais ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 31st match minute, Caminha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Porto in the 34th minute of play forced SC Alveijar's goalkeeper Afonso Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Manuel Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caminha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Porto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Pinheiro during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
