The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Leca FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Amílcar Anjos hit a great ball. Mário Assunção showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Adelino Antunes charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adelino Antunes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Leca FC got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Antunes. In the 18thth minute of the game Vasco Matias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leca FC's Mário Assunção was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bento Viegas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Moutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bento Viegas made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Lúcio Pinheiro sent off a good shot on target. Tomás Moutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasco Matias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Dantas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Mário Assunção made a huge save. Mário Assunção made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Dantas in the 94th minute. The SC Adoria players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Leca FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
