A hard shot by Viriato Faria from long distance, 7 minutes into the match, got Inácio Carvalho's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, SC Pedregal's Joaquim Aguiar got a free kick in the 7th minute. Inácio Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandre Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Marques in the 12th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Marques in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandre Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Artur Garcia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alexandre Vale. SC Danaia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Inácio Carvalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Borges in the 15th minute. In the 25th minute, Jorge Matos made a precise shot to the right of Inácio Carvalho. SC Pedregal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 33 minutes into the match, SC Danaia's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Martins came free, but Alexandre Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, SC Pedregal's José Teixeira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexandre Vale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If José Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Borges struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Inácio Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Danaia. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Sousa was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Jorge Borges made a precise shot to the right of Inácio Carvalho. SC Pedregal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 59th minute José Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuel Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Carvalho having to interfere. In the 77th minute of the match, Mariano Martins got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alexandre Vale was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Borges in the 78th minute of play forced SC Pedregal's goalkeeper Inácio Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mariano Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Martins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandre Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. After 95 minutes, José Marques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Pedregal and the SC Danaia players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, SC Pedregal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Marques to maneuver through the defense. SC Danaia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Pedregal for a fine match.
