After having played for 6 minutes, Lúcio Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Cascaes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lúcio Teixeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oliveira Mota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Paulo Pacheco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The SC Pincaes fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when SC Pincaes's Daniel Pires looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Paulo Pacheco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 28 minutes, Daniel Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 32nd minute, SC Pincaes's Cláudio Coelho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. SC Pincaes's Delfim Bessa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Guerreiro in the 45th minute of play. SC Cascaes's supporters rose to their feet, but André Guerreiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After some careless play in the SC Cascaes defense, Daniel Pires kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Pacheco. The SC Cascaes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Pacheco should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute Daniel Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Pacheco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Pincaes fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Cascaes had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
