Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Rodrigo Barros started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Inácio Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Henriques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Henriques didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Inácio Melo went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Gonçalves got free with Gaspar Gueifão in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 11 played minutes Figueirinhas got a freekick which was hit by João Cardoso. In the 11th minute of the match Óscar Carvalho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaspar Gueifão showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 16 minutes in the game, Rodrigo Barros fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gaspar Gueifão having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Carlos Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Figueirinhas's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Monteiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Henriques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Inácio Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Figueirinhas's protests and gave Inácio Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Figueirinhas got a freekick which was hit by Inácio Amaral. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Gonçalves got free with Gaspar Gueifão in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Inácio Amaral was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 27 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Figueirinhas's Inácio Amaral got a free kick in the 28th minute. Inácio Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Painzela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Melo came free, but Ricardo Henriques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When João Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Figueirinhas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Cardoso couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute, Inácio Melo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Henriques was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After having played for 42 minutes, Pedro Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Painzela FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Gonçalves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaspar Gueifão made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Pedro Gonçalves sent off a good shot on target. Carlos Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Painzela FC's Óscar Carvalho tried to score from far away in the 49th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Figueirinhas's João Cardoso got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Inácio Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Henriques having to interfere. Carlos Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Henriques having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Painzela FC's Simão Setúbal got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Pedro Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Painzela FC's Rodrigo Barros in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Figueirinhas's goalie prevented a goal. 76 minutes into the match, Figueirinhas's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Barros came free, but Gaspar Gueifão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Painzela FC booed when Figueirinhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Gueifão having to interfere. When Raul Ramos fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Figueirinhas's protests and gave Raul Ramos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Figueirinhas getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Raul Ramos hit a great ball. Pedro Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Gaspar Gueifão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
