In the 4th minute, Nuno Vieira made a precise shot to the right of Alexandre Campos. Perlinha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Nuno Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Perlinha's Rui Rodrigues got a free kick in the 20th minute. If Tiago Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The audience was convinced that Nuno Vieira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexandre Campos was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. With a little luck, Noura FC's Bernardo Freitas got control of the ball when Rui Rodrigues tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Daniel Freitas made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Alexandre Campos managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Noura FC's Nuno Vieira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 58th minute Daniel Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandro Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Noura FC's Tiago Amaro got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Perlinha's zone, Tiago Amaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Campos came out of the goal and Tiago Amaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Rui Rodrigues ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardo Freitas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Daniel Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perlinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Freitas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Freitas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rui Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Perlinha's zone, Tiago Amaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Campos came out of the goal and Tiago Amaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute there was a penalty for Perlinha. Pedro Pacheco stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bernardo Freitas. 2-1. Nuno Vieira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Alexandre Campos made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Noura FC's Tiago Amaro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alexandre Campos. That made the score 2-2 after 98 minutes of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
