The supporters of Azurara FC booed when Reborido FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Reborido FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Paulo Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Porto in the 15th minute of the match. If Paulo Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Catarino Bessa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicente Borba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Azurara FC's Rogério Amorim got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Jaime Gaspar struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Vicente Borba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azurara FC. Catarino Bessa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the game, Álvaro Vaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reborido FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Azurara FC the free kick. After recieving a nice pass, Reborido FC's José Fernandes tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, André Porto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for André Porto to strike the kick off in the second half. Fábio Barros hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Paulo Teixeira made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when André Porto sent off a good shot on target. After 58 minutes, André Porto made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. After 67 minutes of play, Reborido FC's Paulo Santos made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Teixeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Reborido FC's zone, Catarino Bessa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Borba came out of the goal and Catarino Bessa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute Catarino Bessa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Borba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Reborido FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Nuno Freitas hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Jaime Gaspar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Azurara FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when André Porto 96 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4.
