Lamegal FC's Augusto Moura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Lamegal FC from getting a goal against them. Nuno Maia was shown his second yellow card after 10 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Nuno Maia hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 13 minutes, André Fontes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Assares and the Lamegal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. André Fontess short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Augusto Moura to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rui Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Ramos having to interfere. If André Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hugo Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Augusto Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Fontes struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Augusto Moura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Assares. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustavo Delgado during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in SC Assares's zone, Rui Veiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Ramos came out of the goal and Rui Veiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rui Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. João Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Moura having to interfere. In the 70thth minute of the game Rui Veiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Assares's João Ramos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If André Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lourenço Borba came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and João Ramos could save by the left post. Rui Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Ramos having to interfere. In the 92nd minute André Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandre Lisboa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Augusto Moura. Lamegal FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. SC Assares's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
