The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Ramos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Júlio Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 8th minute, André Fontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, SC Assares's João Ramos got control of the ball when Rui Ramos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vade's zone, André Fontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júlio Costa came out of the goal and André Fontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vítor Amorim's late challenge caught a SC Assares's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vítor Amorim helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vade's Vítor Amorim got a free kick in the 15th minute. With a little luck, SC Assares's João Ramos got control of the ball when Rui Ramos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manuel Faro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Ramos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. João Ramos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rui Ramos in the 23rd minute. André Fontes took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Júlio Costa. After a rather tough play, SC Assares's Bernardo Jesus got a free kick in the 38th minute. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Rui Ramos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience was convinced that Manuel Faro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Ramos was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. In the 47th minute of the match, Rui Ramos got a very nice opportunity to score, but João Ramos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 47 played minutes SC Assares got a freekick which was hit by António Borba. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Faro made a kick off. Manuel Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Júlio Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Gomes in the 59th minute of the match. Gaspar Carneiro charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaspar Carneiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gaspar Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Hugo Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Assares's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Gomes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SC Assares's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vade the free kick. André Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, André Fontes put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Júlio Costa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Gomes in the 95th minute of play forced Vade's goalkeeper Júlio Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded SC Assares left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vade.
