Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joaquim Paiva got the match started through his kick off. When Afonso Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Velada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Moreira couldn't finish the play. Afonso Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Amaral having to interfere. Afonso Moreira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gil Amaral having to make a save. In the 15th match minute, Barcelinhos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Morais to maneuver through the defense. Gil Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandre Matos in the 16th minute. Afonso Moreira might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gil Amaral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afonso Moreira ran back to his position shaking his head. Tiago Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 24 minutes, Nuno Borba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Velada and the Barcelinhos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes Velada got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Borba. Henrique Moniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amadeu Viana's late challenge caught a Barcelinhos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amadeu Viana helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Velada fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! In the 37th minute, Alberto Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afonso Moreira made a kick off. In the 62nd minute, Cristiano Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gil Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Gil Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Moreira in the 65th minute of play. Henrique Moniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 68 minutes, Basílio Campos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barcelinhos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basílio Campos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henrique Moniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Paiva in the 73rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Basílio Campos could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Henrique Moniz however easily saved by the left post. Velada's Henrique Moniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Paiva in the 75th minute of play. Henrique Moniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Paiva in the 85th minute of the match. A collision led to Barcelinhos FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Alberto Paiva hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso Moreira in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gil Amaral saved Barcelinhos FC from getting behind. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
