In the 29th minute Henrique Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Moniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Pedro Maia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39thth minute of the game Henrique Maia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Velada's Henrique Moniz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afonso Moreira to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Dias in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrique Moniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Velada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Areosa FC the free kick. Henrique Moniz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
