Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tiago Resende took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Fernando Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Vargos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When SC Vargos's Tiago Resende in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Refugio FC's Daniel Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Resende in the 35th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Pedro Resende managed to get in a good position for a shot. Refugio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Resende was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bento Moniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bento Moniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Bento Moniz made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Pedro Resende sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the match, SC Vargos's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Reis came free, but Bento Moniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Manuel Reis made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Fernando Amaral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Ferreira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 58 minutes into the match, Manuel Reis notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of SC Vargos's Bento Moniz. Bento Moniz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fernando Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Daniel Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Amaral took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Ferreira. Daniel Ferreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After 73 minutes, Inácio Nunes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Vargos and the Refugio FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Inácio Nunes hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the game, Pedro Resende cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Bento Moniz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 81st minute, one of SC Vargos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Vargos. After 83 minutes, Alexandre Viegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Vargos and the Refugio FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alexandre Viegas kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Manuel Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Bento Moniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Resende, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Tiago Resende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Ferreira having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
