SC Becos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adelino Barros in the 5th minute. A nice corner shot did that Adelino Barros got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vicente Pires quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Vicente Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Vicente Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Paiva in the 12th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Azervadinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Ribeiro. In the 14th minute, Viriato Paiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vicente Pacheco hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After 18 played minutes, SC Becos's Adelino Barros shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vicente Pires came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Becos reached it. Viriato Paiva struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Vicente Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Becos. Alberto Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, SC Becos's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Borges came free, but Abel Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Simão Assis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 36 minutes into the match, Azervadinha FC's goalkeeper Vicente Pires had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simão Assis. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Becos's goalkeeper Abel Cruz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40th minute António Coimbra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Viriato Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a defensive mix-up in SC Becos's zone, António Coimbra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Cruz came out of the goal and António Coimbra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Américo Viana hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. With his leg Abel Cruz managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Azervadinha FC's Alberto Gonçalves fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vicente Pacheco charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente Pacheco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vicente Pacheco kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. SC Becos's Adelino Barros couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 64th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Azervadinha FC. In the 67th minute, Viriato Paiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Becos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Abel Cruz made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Alberto Gonçalves sent off a good shot on target. In the 78th match minute, Azervadinha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Paredes to maneuver through the defense. Adelino Barros missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 80 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Vicente Pires right hand side. Vicente Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão Assis, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. When SC Becos's Simão Assis in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The SC Becos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Azervadinha FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
