Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Bernardo Ferro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd minute, David Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Gomes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rui Neto firmly grabbed it by the left post. Joaquim Simões's late challenge caught a SC Crasto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquim Simões helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Campea's Joaquim Simões got a free kick in the 6th minute. A collision led to SC Crasto getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Adelino Soares hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, David Brás sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Crasto's Rui Neto didn't even have to move. Mariano Gomes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Rui Neto made a huge save. In the 23rd match minute, SC Crasto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Soares to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Rui Aleixo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rui Neto was a little too slow when Mariano Gomes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 1-0. When José Neto fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Campea's protests and gave José Neto a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes SC Campea got a freekick which was hit by José Neto. Mariano Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Neto having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rui Aleixo made a kick off. After some careless play in the SC Crasto defense, José Neto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rui Neto. The SC Crasto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rui Neto should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Armindo Henriques could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Hélder Nascimento however easily saved by the left post. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Crasto's goalkeeper Rui Neto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SC Crasto's Rui Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Aleixo in the 61st minute of play. Armindo Henriques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Nascimento having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Ferro in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hélder Nascimento saved SC Campea from getting behind. 74 minutes into the match, SC Campea's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Ferro came free, but Hélder Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Nascimento having to interfere. SC Crasto's Armindo Henriques got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rui Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Crasto's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
