Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gabriel Faria took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Rui Carneiro fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jardoeira's protests and gave Rui Carneiro a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jardoeira fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! In the 8th match minute, Fornalha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Gonçalo Carvalho made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Gaspar. Fornalha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Hugo Gaspar came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Jardoeira's André Silva. But to his dismay, André Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. André Silva struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Hugo Gaspar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jardoeira. Alexandre Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Manuel Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Jardoeira's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Faria came free, but Manuel Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29thth minute of the game Gabriel Faria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jardoeira's Manuel Gomes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexandre Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Manuel Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Rui Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Jardoeira's goalkeeper Manuel Gomes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandre Rodrigues. Hugo Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and André Silva made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Fornalha's zone, Gonçalo Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Gaspar came out of the goal and Gonçalo Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fornalha's goalkeeper Hugo Gaspar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manuel Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Moura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Gaspar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Fornalha's Hugo Gaspar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Fornalha from getting a goal against them. In the 67thth minute of the game André Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fornalha's Hugo Gaspar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Hugo Gaspar managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Jardoeira's André Silva fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 73rd minute, Rui Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute, Gonçalo Carvalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Gaspar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Cristiano Azevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Gomes having to make a save. Alexandre Rodrigues struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Manuel Gomes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fornalha. Alexandre Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Gomes having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Jardoeira's David Moura got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute, Gabriel Faria made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Gomes. Jardoeira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Hugo Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Jardoeira had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
