SC Vieirinhos's Tomás Teixeira got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Almansil's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Almeida came free, but João Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The SC Vieirinhos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Almansil's performance. The match ended with a win for Almansil.
