Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Luso's Mário Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Araújo in the 5th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jorge Araújo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mário Fonseca was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Jorge Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Fonseca having to interfere. Alexandre Esteves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lúcio Ferro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 20th minute SC Luso were awarded a corner. Cristiano Santos went to the cornerflag to take it. SC Luso's Cristiano Santos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lúcio Ferro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 22 minutes into the game, Pedro Machado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mário Fonseca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of SC Luso booed when Amial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inácio Figueiredo struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Lúcio Ferro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Luso. If Nuno Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lúcio Ferro was a little too slow when Inácio Figueiredo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 1-1.

If Inácio Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 2-1 became the score in the 56th minute when Nuno Henriques elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 59 minutes, Gonçalo Oliveira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Amial and the SC Luso players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SC Luso booed when Amial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jorge Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, SC Luso's Mário Fonseca got control of the ball when Pedro Machado tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Pedro Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amial's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Machado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mário Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Amial's Joaquim Matias got a free kick in the 94th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Luso fans cheered their team off the field, for while Amial had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
