Albertino Paredes started the match with the kick off. Jaime Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the match, Colmeais's goal looked a bit too open when Catarino Almeida came free, but Paulo Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albertino Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Rocha having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Jorge Luz lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Jaime Esteves. With a little luck, SC Souroes's Jaime Esteves got control of the ball when Jorge Luz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manuel Reis's late challenge caught a Colmeais's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Reis helped the player get up and apologised. Gonçalo Valente hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Jaime Esteves was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alexandre Amorim. José Reis really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Jaime Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Luz in the 32nd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, SC Souroes's goal looked a bit too open when José Reis came free, but Jaime Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, José Reis made a precise shot to the right of Jaime Esteves. SC Souroes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Paulo Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Catarino Almeida in the 38th minute of play. Catarino Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 42 minutes into the match, Colmeais's goal looked a bit too open when Albertino Paredes came free, but Paulo Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Jorge Luz made a precise shot to the right of Jaime Esteves. SC Souroes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Reis to strike the kick off in the second half. When António Oliveira fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Souroes's protests and gave António Oliveira a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Colmeais getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Jorge Barbosa hit a great ball. In the 59th minute of the match Henrique Machado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Rocha skillfully saved the ball. In the 59th minute, Afonso Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Souroes's Albertino Paredes got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Colmeais's Jorge Luz in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Souroes's goalie prevented a goal. Paulo Rocha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Catarino Almeida in the 70th minute. Jaime Esteves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Luz's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Paulo Rocha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Catarino Almeida went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. 85 minutes into the match, José Reis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jaime Esteves. SC Souroes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Reis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 91st minute José Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Esteves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Luz went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Colmeais were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SC Souroes for a fine match.
