Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 5thth minute of the game Heitor Guarda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Machico's Paulo Henriques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulo Henriques made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Rui Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. Jacinto Assis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Rui Fonseca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Henriques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. The referee ignored Machico's protests and gave Jacinto Moura a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, Machico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Moura to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Afonso Nogueira in the 17th minute really tested Paulo Henriques's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomás Tavares during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Machico's Tomás Tavares got a free kick in the 17th minute. Rui Fonseca came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Paulo Henriques could save by the left post. The supporters of Machico booed when Silveiros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Assis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Silveiros FC's Adelino Leão got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 28thth minute of the game André Aguiar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Silveiros FC's Jacinto Assis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jacinto Assis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Silveiros FC's Jacinto Assis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Aguiar in the 35th minute of play. André Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Assis having to interfere. Adelino Leão's late challenge caught a Machico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adelino Leão helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th match minute, Silveiros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Leão to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 39 minutes, Joel Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Machico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute, André Aguiar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacinto Assis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Joel Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Machico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Assis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 56 minutes into the game, Silveiros FC's Heitor Guarda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Henriques made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Machico's Paulo Henriques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heitor Guarda in the 63rd minute of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Rui Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silveiros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. André Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Jacinto Assis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Heitor Guarda notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Machico's Paulo Henriques. Paulo Henriques was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joel Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 96 minutes of play Machico's Jacinto Moura was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Jacinto Moura hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The Machico players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Silveiros FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
