Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Picanceira's Joaquim Assunção started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Joaquim Assunção shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vítor Vaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquim Assunção's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Paulo Silva charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Silva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ricardo Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Vítor Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Assunção in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Henrique Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquim Assunção succeeded in the game's 16th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. The supporters of SC Picanceira booed when Castanheira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeu Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Oliveira Pedroso made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Leiria. SC Picanceira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Vítor Vaz made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Ricardo Figueiredo sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Castanheira FC booed when SC Picanceira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Leiria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílcar Coimbra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Joaquim Assunção ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vítor Vaz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amílcar Coimbra made a kick off. Manuel Leiria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílcar Coimbra, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Castanheira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Figueiredo came free, but Vítor Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oliveira Pedroso in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Manuel Leiria, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Oliveira Pedroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Leiria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílcar Coimbra, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Ricardo Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Joaquim Assunção came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the SC Picanceira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Assunção couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the match, Joaquim Assunção notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Castanheira FC's Vítor Vaz. Vítor Vaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oliveira Pedroso kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Castanheira FC's Amadeu Moura got a free kick in the 77th minute. If Joaquim Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 81 minutes into the match, Amílcar Coimbra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Leiria. SC Picanceira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amílcar Coimbra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After having played for 90 minutes, Joaquim Assunção managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Picanceira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Assunção was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Castanheira FC's Vítor Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Figueiredo in the 92nd minute of play. Viriato Branco charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viriato Branco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 93 played minutes Castanheira FC got a freekick which was hit by Viriato Branco. SC Picanceira's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
