Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tiago Santarém took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aldeia FC's goalkeeper Carlos Guerreiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th minute Tiago Santarém shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Guerreiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaspar Maia hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. If Pedro Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Guerreiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Santarém in the 13th minute of play. SC Ester's André Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Teixeira in the 21st minute of play. Simão Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Machado having to interfere. Carlos Guerreiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Guerreiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Santarém, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 28th match minute, Aldeia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Maia to maneuver through the defense. Tiago Santarém recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Guerreiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 47 minutes, David Brás mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Ester and the Aldeia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SC Ester getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. David Brás hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Teixeira was the one to do the kick off. Carlos Guerreiro made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Pedro Gaspar sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Gaspar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Guerreiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Pedro Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Mariano Teixeira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of André Machado. SC Ester's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Teixeira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The supporters of Aldeia FC booed when SC Ester was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Brás didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Guerreiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Santarém, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
