The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Humberto Baptista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filipe Moniz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 11th minute of the match Manuel Setúbal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Domingos Lima showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Carlos Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Lima having to interfere. When Alfredo Campos fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Labugueira FC's protests and gave Alfredo Campos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Alfredo Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Tiago Monteiro made a precise shot to the right of Domingos Lima. Labugueira FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, SC Quintos's Jaime Paiva got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 28th minute, Inácio Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiago Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Tiago Monteiro succeeded in the game's 43rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Filipe Moniz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Baptista in the 48th minute. The Labugueira FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Quintos were winning 1-2.

In the 53rd minute, Jaime Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Quintos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! Nuno Lopes hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Humberto Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 minutes, Álvaro Fonseca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Labugueira FC and the SC Quintos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 68 minutes, Tiago Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Quintos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Monteiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute, Carlos Correia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tiago Monteiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Domingos Lima made a huge save. The supporters of SC Quintos booed when Labugueira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, SC Quintos's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Magalhães came free, but Filipe Moniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humberto Baptista struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Filipe Moniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Labugueira FC. After a defensive mix-up in Labugueira FC's zone, Carlos Correia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Lima came out of the goal and Carlos Correia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domingos Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Correia in the 86th minute of the match. Humberto Baptista scored 3-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filipe Moniz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Labugueira FC's Humberto Baptista got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandre Magalhães in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filipe Moniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Magalhães in the 98th minute of play forced SC Quintos's goalkeeper Filipe Moniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Quintos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Labugueira FC.
