Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joaquim Machado got the match started through his kick off. After 3 played minutes Morlenas got a freekick which was hit by Diamantino Paredes. Afonso Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquim Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the match, Morlenas's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Machado came free, but Afonso Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Morlenas booed when SC Meijoeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sérgio Matias kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. SC Meijoeira's Rodrigo Fontes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Morlenas. If Joaquim Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diogo Guarda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Afonso Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, SC Meijoeira's Joaquim Machado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Joaquim Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Meijoeira's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquim Machado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexandre Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hélder Paredes made a kick off. When Morlenas's Hélder Paredes in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Meijoeira's goalie prevented a goal. Oliveira Cruz in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Oliveira Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Morlenas's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
