Amadeu Dias came out of the goal and Manuel Domingues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If David Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Armando Amaro fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Britelo FC's protests and gave Armando Amaro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Álvaro Almeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Álvaro Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Miranda was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Britelo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Coelho came free, but Amadeu Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
