Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pegas's Pedro Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Resende in the 5th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pegas's zone, Manuel Resende stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Porto came out of the goal and Manuel Resende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute, Manuel Resende fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Manuel Resende hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Pegas's António Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henrique Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Pegas booed when Freimi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Paredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Rui Neves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henrique Matos. Freimi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rui Neves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 35th minute, Manuel Resende got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. André Moutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 42 minutes into the game, António Garcia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pegas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Freimi the free kick. A collision led to Freimi getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Diogo Assunção hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusébio Machado to strike the kick off in the second half. Rui Neves in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Henrique Matos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 63rd minute Eusébio Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusébio Machado in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrique Matos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rui Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexandre Faro hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Eusébio Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Henrique Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute Manuel Resende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusébio Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Faro got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Alexandre Faro hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. André Moutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Porto having to interfere. If Manuel Resende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
