Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cristóvão Rocha took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th match minute, Carpalhosa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliveira Moutinho to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Pedro Mendes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sandro Magalhães was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Jesus got free with Jaime Domingues in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sandro Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Mendes in the 14th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Oliveira Moutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute Cristóvão Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Rocha in the 34th minute of play. Cristóvão Rocha might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaime Domingues. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristóvão Rocha ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristóvão Rocha's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Jaime Domingues skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. David Pacheco charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Pacheco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. David Pacheco hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Mendes to make the kick off. Jaime Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Pedro Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristóvão Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jaime Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bento Gueifão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Sandro Magalhães made a huge save. The goalkeeper, Sandro Magalhães, was totally fooled by Mourim FC's Jorge Figueiredo, who 64 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Cristóvão Rocha charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristóvão Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Carpalhosa FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Cristóvão Rocha hit a great ball. Bento Gueifão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Sandro Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 72 minutes into the game, when João Paredes put in a rough tackle. João Paredes hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Jaime Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Jesus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bento Gueifão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Luís Amaro came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Mourim FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Amaro couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Mourim FC booed when Carpalhosa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bento Gueifão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Sandro Magalhães made a huge save. Cristóvão Rocha took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jaime Domingues. Jaime Domingues dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.
