Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Miguel Viegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Bernardo Teixeira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquim Alves. Macainhas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardo Teixeira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Artur Santarém came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Ervedal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Santarém couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Vítor Assunção got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Miguel Viegas's late challenge caught a Ervedal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Viegas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ervedal FC booed when Macainhas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Viegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingos Monteiro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 16th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Vasco Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vasco Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Gonçalves in the 20th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Miguel Gonçalves notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ervedal FC's Vasco Oliveira. Vasco Oliveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vítor Assunção got free with Vasco Oliveira in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Ervedal FC's Vasco Oliveira got control of the ball when Vítor Assunção tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ervedal FC's goalkeeper Vasco Oliveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Artur Santarém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th play minute Vítor Assunção came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vasco Oliveira. 2-1. Vasco Oliveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vítor Assunção in the 42nd minute. After 43 minutes, Américo Dias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ervedal FC and the Macainhas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Américo Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vítor Assunção received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Vasco Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Gonçalves to make the kick off. Joaquim Alves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artur Santarém in the 54th minute. After 62 minutes of play, Macainhas FC's Miguel Gonçalves made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vasco Oliveira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Macainhas FC's Joaquim Alves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Macainhas FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Ervedal FC's Bernardo Teixeira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joaquim Alves. That made the score 3-3 after 70 minutes of play. Ervedal FC's Vasco Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Assunção in the 76th minute of play. Gabriel Aleixo kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. If Vítor Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ervedal FC's zone, Vítor Assunção stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vasco Oliveira came out of the goal and Vítor Assunção tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domingos Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When Vítor Assunção came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Macainhas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Assunção couldn't finish the play. Vasco Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Assunção, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
