Vítor Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, SC Quiraz's Paulo Valente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vítor Alves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 20 played minutes SC Quiraz got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Carvalho. Jorge Henriques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Lanhas FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Rui Baptista hit a great ball. Vítor Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Carvalho in the 29th minute of the match. Paulo Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Vítor Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Jorge Henriques had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristóvão Pires. SC Quiraz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Henriques was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Valente made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Rui Baptista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lanhas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Quiraz the free kick. A collision led to Lanhas FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Rui Baptista hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Rui Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Oliveira got free with Vítor Alves in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th match minute, Lanhas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Baptista to maneuver through the defense. Cristóvão Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Henriques, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 69 minutes into the game, one of SC Quiraz:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pedro Borges scored 2-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristóvão Pires, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 75th match minute, Lanhas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Lopes to maneuver through the defense. Cristóvão Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Henriques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Valente struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Vítor Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Quiraz. In the 92nd minute, Sandro Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lanhas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0.
