Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sandro Costa started the match with the kick off. A hard shot 5 in the game by Amadeu Coelho from a close distance when the talented Vítor Alves managed to make a qualified save. Lanhas FC's players were relieved. In the 7th match minute, Lanhas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Baptista to maneuver through the defense. Amadeu Coelho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vítor Alves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Amadeu Coelho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vítor Alves, 1-0. When Jorge Henriques came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Lanhas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Henriques couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute, Sandro Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Costa in the 16th minute of play. If Jorge Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Henriques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Monteiro having to interfere. When Lanhas FC's Sandro Costa in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Garvao's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, SC Garvao's Cristiano Ferro got a free kick in the 38th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Júlio Soares was the one to do the kick off. Júlio Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Vítor Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SC Garvao's zone, Jorge Henriques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Monteiro came out of the goal and Jorge Henriques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristiano Ferro got his second yellow card in the match during the 63rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Lanhas FC booed when SC Garvao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Ferro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Pedro Borges in the 65th minute really tested Alfredo Monteiro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 66th minute of the match, Sandro Costa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alfredo Monteiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alfredo Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 played minutes Lanhas FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Lopes. Alfredo Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Costa in the 76th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, SC Garvao's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Costa came free, but Alfredo Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júlio Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Alves having to interfere. Alexandre Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
