An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Almeida in the 26th minute of play forced Burnaria FC's goalkeeper Heitor Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armindo Santarém stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. SC Balouta's Sandro Assunção proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save SC Balouta from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Burnaria FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Catarino Vaz hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Joaquim Domingues ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Heitor Correia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Heitor Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rui Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Burnaria FC were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after SC Balouta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ricardo Ferreira took the corner. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cândido Torres during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Joaquim Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when SC Balouta's Rui Almeida fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. SC Balouta walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
