Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, Domingos Branco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carmoes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Campinos the free kick. After recieving a nice pass, SC Campinos's Humberto Pedroso tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rui Coelho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fábio Rocha. SC Campinos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fábio Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliveira Alves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Fábio Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fábio Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Coelho in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to Carmoes getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Oliveira Alves hit a great ball. A hard shot by Humberto Pedroso from long distance, 31 minutes into the match, got Henrique Borba's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Henrique Setúbal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Henrique Borba. Carmoes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gonçalo Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Borba having to interfere. If Gonçalo Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the game, Gonçalo Gonçalves recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Henrique Borba. Gonçalo Gonçalves showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rui Coelho was the one to do the kick off. Humberto Dias struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Fábio Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carmoes. Álvaro Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 56 minutes, Gonçalo Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Campinos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonçalo Gonçalves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carmoes's Henrique Borba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Gonçalves in the 60th minute of play. Daniel Coimbra kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Carmoes's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Gonçalves came free, but Henrique Borba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Humberto Dias came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Carmoes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Dias couldn't finish the play. In the 68th match minute, Carmoes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Bessa to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Gonçalo Gonçalves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrique Borba was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Humberto Dias's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fábio Rocha firmly grabbed it by the left post. Álvaro Paredes scored 2-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henrique Borba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Humberto Dias took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fábio Rocha. Fábio Rocha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.
