Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) SC Moreiro's Gonçalo Fernandes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to SC Moreiro getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Augusto Delgado hit a great ball. Armando Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Fernandes in the 7th minute of the match. José Pacheco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armando Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Fernandes in the 18th minute of play forced Estorninhos's goalkeeper Fábio Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, SC Moreiro's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Matos came free, but Armando Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Fernandes in the 25th minute of play forced Estorninhos's goalkeeper Fábio Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustavo Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Neves having to interfere. Gonçalo Fernandes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fábio Leão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gustavo Fernandes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Neves was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When José Pacheco came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the SC Moreiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Pacheco couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the game, Armindo Pinto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Moreiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estorninhos the free kick. After 55 played minutes SC Moreiro got a freekick which was hit by Armindo Pinto. Gonçalo Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Fábio Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Fernandes might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Neves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo Fernandes ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Fernandes in the 70th minute of play forced Estorninhos's goalkeeper Fábio Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Matos in the 78th minute of play. SC Moreiro's Armando Neves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save SC Moreiro from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute, José Pacheco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Freitas was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 95 minutes into the match. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Moreiro! When the match had been going on for 98 minutes, Estorninhos's André Andrade got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Armando Neves. The SC Moreiro supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Estorninhos's performance. The match ended with a win for Estorninhos.
