Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abel Esteves started the match with the kick off. Delfim Torres struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Afonso Moniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aranhas. Rui Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Afonso Moniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Abel Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Rui Pedroso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Afonso Moniz. Pucarica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rui Pedroso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Abel Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Pucarica's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Pedroso came free, but Afonso Moniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delfim Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Andrade having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Delfim Garcia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Andrade was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rui Pedroso was the one to do the kick off. If Abel Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delfim Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. André Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Aranhas's goal looked a bit too open when Delfim Garcia came free, but André Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Aranhas's zone, Delfim Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Andrade came out of the goal and Delfim Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Aranhas defense, Abel Esteves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Andrade. The Aranhas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Andrade should have stopped the shot. Abel Esteves struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. André Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pucarica. André Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Esteves in the 73rd minute of play. Álvaro Melo hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Esteves in the 79th minute of play forced Aranhas's goalkeeper André Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rui Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th minute Rui Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Moniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aranhas's Hélder Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Pucarica's Artur Amorim got a free kick in the 95th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Delfim Torres could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Afonso Moniz however easily saved by the left post. Aranhas's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
