The supporters of SC Cagida booed when Sante was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gonçalo Guerreiro fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sante's protests and gave Gonçalo Guerreiro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sante's Gonçalo Guerreiro got a free kick in the 26th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Emanuel Neto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eusébio Nogueira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Neto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eusébio Nogueira was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. 42 minutes into the match, Sante's Rui Leiria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eusébio Nogueira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Fernandes was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Neto in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eusébio Nogueira saved SC Cagida from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Sante's Emanuel Neto got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute, David Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rui Leiria who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Eusébio Nogueira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. SC Cagida's Eusébio Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Neto in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, SC Cagida's goalkeeper Eusébio Nogueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rui Leiria. Emanuel Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Eusébio Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If David Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute David Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Jesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vítor Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Sante's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Almeida came free, but Daniel Jesus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88thth minute of the game Marco Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sante's Daniel Jesus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st minute, Sante's Emanuel Neto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Daniel Jesus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sante walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
