Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gustavo Trindade started the match with the kick off. André Luz was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Rui Leiria capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rui Leiria really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Gustavo Trindade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the game, Gabriel Ramos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sante's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Biscoitos the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Sante was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Ramos to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute Gustavo Trindade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Jesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sante's Gonçalo Guerreiro got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sante's zone, Gustavo Trindade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Jesus came out of the goal and Gustavo Trindade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 24 played minutes Sante got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Ramos. SC Biscoitos's Gustavo Trindade got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute Gustavo Trindade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Jesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Trindade in the 37th minute of play forced Sante's goalkeeper Daniel Jesus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rui Leiria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luz having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuel Neto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gustavo Trindade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sante's Emanuel Neto got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rui Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Daniel Jesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sante's Diamantino Aguiar got a free kick in the 68th minute. When SC Biscoitos's Gustavo Trindade in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sante's goalie prevented a goal. Daniel Jesus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rui Correia in the 78th minute. Ricardo Porto's late challenge caught a SC Biscoitos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Porto helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sante's Ricardo Porto got a free kick in the 81st minute. Rui Correia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Daniel Jesus when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Emanuel Neto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. André Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Leiria in the 91st minute of the match. After having played for 93 minutes, Gustavo Trindade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Biscoitos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Trindade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
