Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Rui Rodrigues left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cava fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Cristóvão Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the game, Joaquim Assunção was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Numao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cava the free kick. In the 10th minute, Joaquim Assunção hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastião Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Pinheiro in the 11th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes Numao got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Rocha. João Pinheiro scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastião Leite, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Numao's zone, João Pinheiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastião Leite came out of the goal and João Pinheiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cava's Rui Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristóvão Borba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Luís Marques made a huge save. Cava's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Duarte Carvalho 24 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. In the 29th minute Duarte Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. If Cristóvão Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the game, Duarte Machado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cava's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Numao the free kick. A collision led to Cava getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Duarte Machado hit a great ball. Cristóvão Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Marques having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Cava's Inácio Nascimento got a free kick in the 61st minute. Rui Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristiano Viegas hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as João Pinheiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sebastião Leite. That made the score 2-3 in the 68 minute of play. Rui Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquim Assunção hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, João Pinheiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristóvão Borba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Marques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Luís Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Carvalho in the 87th minute of the match. In the last second Sebastião Leite throw himself and got hold of the ball when João Pinheiro in the 90thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 94 minutes into the match, Rui Miranda notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Numao's Sebastião Leite. Sebastião Leite was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Numao supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cava's performance. The match ended with a win for Cava.
