Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. João Pinheiro started the match with the kick off. Joaquim Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Bruno Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 14 minutes, Pedro Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vilela FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 20th play minute Paulo Fonseca came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luís Marques. 1-0. In the 23rdth minute of the game João Pinheiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vilela FC's Bruno Melo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Paiva during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Cava a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Inácio Nascimento, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vilela FC's Bruno Melo. 1-1. When Vilela FC's Pedro Lima, in the 34th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Vilela FC. João Pinheiro scored 1-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Melo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Lima made a kick off. Luís Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Lima in the 53rd minute of play. Cava's João Pinheiro got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Rui Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cava's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Melo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 67 minutes into the match, Vilela FC's goalkeeper Bruno Melo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rui Miranda. Bruno Melo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rui Miranda in the 68th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as João Pinheiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bruno Melo. That made the score 1-3 in the 71 minute of play. João Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Melo having to interfere. In the 87th minute Paulo Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Vilela FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cava's performance. The match ended with a win for Cava.
