An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Antunes in the 47th minute of play forced SC Ninaes's goalkeeper Carlos Guarda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adolfo Dias to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Duarte Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Barbosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Duarte Teixeira's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Duarte Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. José Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Ninaes. José Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Teixeira in the 82nd minute of the match. Fernando Morais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
