Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rui Gueifão made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th match minute, Aviz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Guarda to maneuver through the defense. Humberto Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Júlio Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albertino Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Guarda, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After having played for 10 minutes, Rui Gueifão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Urgeira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Gueifão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Júlio Guarda dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Albertino Soares, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Júlio Guarda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Albertino Soares. That made the score 2-1 in the 26 minute of play. Albertino Soares made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Cristiano Gaspar sent off a good shot on target. Albertino Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Guarda in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Júlio Guarda fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Albertino Soares, passed just outside the right post. After having played for 46 minutes, Rui Gueifão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Urgeira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Gueifão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Júlio Guarda to make the kick off. Albertino Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Guarda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, Aviz's Cristiano Gaspar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albertino Soares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Urgeira booed when Aviz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute Lucas Moutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertino Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cláudio Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Rui Gueifão struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Júlio Leal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urgeira. Cristiano Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Albertino Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Júlio Guarda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertino Soares having to interfere. Júlio Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Gueifão in the 91st minute of the match. Rui Gueifão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Júlio Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
