In the 11th minute, António Leão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bento Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Jesus having to interfere. António Leão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute, António Leão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bairro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 30th of the match, Jorge Guerreiro tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Carlos Faro got in the way and made a wonderful save. Rui Jesus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bento Freitas in the 32nd minute of play. Alpriate's Rui Jesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Leão in the 38th minute of play. Bairro FC were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Alpriate's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bruno Gomes took the corner. After taking down the ball on Bairro FC's corner Bruno Gomes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rui Jesus quite easily take care of the ball. Rui Jesus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bento Freitas in the 47th minute of the match. The Alpriate players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bairro FC were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and António Leão made a kick off. Armando Setúbal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 51st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Faro. Bairro FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Bento Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Bairro FC's zone, Jorge Guerreiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Faro came out of the goal and Jorge Guerreiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abel Coimbra kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 71st match minute, Alpriate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. Bento Freitass short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Rui Jesus to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gil Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Faro having to interfere. Carlos Faro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Américo Lima in the 77th minute of the match. Bairro FC's Carlos Faro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Guerreiro in the 80th minute of play. Rui Jesus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bento Freitas in the 88th minute of the match. Bento Freitas might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rui Jesus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bento Freitas ran back to his position shaking his head. The Bairro FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
